ADHD Flow is responsible for processing your data through the Nuance app. We're the data controller, which means we determine how and why your data is processed.

When you register an account with Nuance, we gather fundamental personal information, including your name, date of birth, and email address. Additionally, you can choose to allow us to collect your health-related information, such as medical diagnoses, to assist us in personalizing and recommending better content based on your ADHD status and challenges.

More specifically, we use this information to:
 

  1. Personalize your app experience: We tailor our features and functionality to better suit your individual needs based on your ADHD status.
     

  2. Enhance community features: Your ADHD diagnosis information helps us connect you with relevant community discussions and support groups within the app.
     

  3. Provide targeted content: We use your ADHD status to offer more relevant information, tips, and resources specific to ADHD management.
     

  4. Improve our services: Understanding our user base helps us make informed decisions about app development and feature enhancements.
     

We also automatically collect some technical data when you use the app, including:

  • Device type and operating system

  • App usage patterns

  • IP address

    • IP address can be used to infer your approximate location.​
       

3. How we use your information

We use your data for the following purposes:

We keep your data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your profile, your data will be automatically deleted from our database.
 

We may retain certain data for longer if required by law.

To provide our services effectively, ADHD Flow may share your personal data with trusted third-party service providers. These providers assist us in tasks like hosting, analytics, and error monitoring. They process data according to our instructions and this privacy policy.
 

We disclose your information to the following categories of service providers:

  1. Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers:

    • Google Cloud Platform (cloud.google.com) for hosting our production servers and database

  2. Analytics and user experience tools:

    • Mixpanel (mixpanel.com) for analytics and user experience analysis

  3. Error monitoring services:

    • Sentry (sentry.io) for error monitoring and crash reporting

If these third parties process personal data on our behalf (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), they are bound by data processing agreements. Note that ADHD Flow remains responsible at all times for your personal data and other information — and that no third-party service can acquire any additional rights other than the ones provided for by this privacy policy.
 

ADHD Flow will disclose your personal data outside the scope of these provisions only if required to do so by law or compelled by a court, government, or administrative agency of competent jurisdiction. Your personal data may be subject to federal and local laws that require ADHD Flow to disclose this data in certain circumstances.

ADHD Flow also reserves the right to transfer the user databases, together with any personal data contained in them, to any third party acquiring ADHD Flow's assets after notice and the opportunity for a user of our service to request that personal data not be transferred. Should ADHD Flow or our assets ever be sold, acquired, merged, liquidated, reorganized, or otherwise transferred, we will place a prominent notice on the homepage of the ADHD Flow website (https://www.getnuance.io).
 

7. International data transfers

While we primarily process data in Denmark, some of our service providers may be located outside the EU. When we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your information, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

As a user of ADHD Flow's services, you have several rights regarding your personal data. We are committed to honoring these rights and ensuring transparency in our data practices.
